PEPPERMINT GUM

MAYBE YOU JUST DONT WANNA REMEMBER

Peppermint gum is a short film that covers topics such as Amnesia, Gaslighting and PTSD.

Peppermint gum has already been to Eastern Europe Film Festival in Romania and Reale Film Festival in Milan Italy, where it won honorable mention in Best Original Idea category. It also already got officially selected at Belgrade International Film Festival.

After a traumatic car accident, Rose loses her memory. Confined in a room with two friends, she begins to sense that something is off. As small details stop adding up and trust starts to erode, Rose must decide whether to face the truth or continue living in a lie.

The film is deeply personal and entirely based on true events.

“…I experienced long-term memory loss following a car accident. That’s why I wrote Peppermint Gum to explore the horror that hides behind politeness, and how easily a person can be gaslit under the guise of friendship…
